Winston is a Little Owl that was handed into Eagle Heights in 2010. He was only a few weeks old when he arrived. Your donations go towards his care and life in captivity. He would not have survived in the wild, so now he has a forever home with us. If you would like to donate towards our animals please use the buttons below. Extra Husky Dates!! »   WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER MORE HUSKY RIDES!   On arrival you will be introduced to the husky handler over a welcome  drink of tea or coffee.    Next, it’s time to meet the dogs!  You will have the chance to pet the animals and put on their harnesses, whilst your handler explains what the dogs do and why, along with where they come from.    Finally it’s time for you to hop on the cart where you will experience the excitement of a husky ride!   You will have a minimum of eight dogs pulling you through stunning countryside with dramatic views of the Darent Valley, whilst the handler does all the hard work of controlling the Huskys!   Arrive back at the centre to warm up with a hot drink and a piece of cake. This experience lasts approximately 1-2 hours depending on the dogs!!!     OPEN VOUCHERS NOW AVAILABLE!!   PLEASE CALL 01322 866577 TO BOOK WITH DEBIT/CREDIT CARD. Hawking Afternoon

Spend the afternoon learning the art of falconry. After a brief indroduction, you'll have the chance to fly a hawk in the surrounding countryside with one of Eagle Heights' falconers and experience the unforgettable sensation of having a bird of prey on your arm.

Refreshments included.

Itinerary

  • 12.00 Arrive to see flying demonstration (summer only) 1.00 pm in winter
  • 13.30 Move to the surrounding countryside to fly the birds
  • 16.30 Return, questions, tea and depart

All equipment will be provided for the day, but please wear or bring suitable clothing according to the time of year.

Spectators/Guests are limited to one per person. Minimum age is 14 years old.

Participants must have full physical and mental fitness to take part in this experience. Please contact us for more details.
