Our falconry and hawking days our now available for those interested in hunting with hawks and falcons.
The hunting birds that you will fly on these experiences are
· Peregrine and Barbary falcons, there quarry is duck, pheasant and partridge.
· Saker Falcon, their quarry is crows.
· Harris hawks quarry are rabbit pheasant and ducks.
· Martial or crowned eagle if you are on the 2 day course only, there quarry are hares.
Day 1
(Chris and Jonny the falconers out hunting with peregrines)
10 am meet the birds you will be flying, weigh and put all the birds in to the vehicle and load your equipment.
11 am arrival at hunting ground and begin hawking.
12 30 pm lunch (included).
1pm back out hawking.
4 30 pm finish with a warm drink and a peace of cake.
1 day hawking costs £150 for 1 or £200 for 2, Guest passes £30 each, max of 2 guests.
Day 2
(Chris and our crowned eagle out hare hawking)
9am Arrival with Tea & Coffee
9 30 meet the birds you will be flying, weigh them and put all the birds in to the vehicle and load our equipment.
10 am leave for hawking ground.
11 am arrival at hawking ground and start hawking.
12 30 pm lunch (included).
1 30 pm back out hawking.
4 30 pm finish with a warm drink and some cake.
2 days hawking costs £300 for 1 and £350 for 2. guests £30 each day maximum of 2 guests.
Min age 14.Must be very able bodied.
