EMICAM is a recognised NGO (non government organisation) in Cameroon and a new British not-for-profit organisation (looking to obtain future charity status).

Our goals are: -

• To raise public awareness and understanding of birds in Cameroon and the UK.
  
• Conserve wild raptors and other birds in Cameroon through education, captive breeding and rehabilitation.
  
• Educate Cameroonians about conservation and the importance of sustainable use of natural resources.
  
• Help relieve poverty and improve standards of living in Cameroon.
  
• Provide a base for researchers and interested individuals to visit Cameroon.
  
• Encourage tourism to Cameroon.
