School Visits

We have the pleasure in offering you an exciting and unique educational experience that has been 'BRINGING SCIENCE ALIVE' for pupils in hundreds of schools nationwide.
The 'Birds of Prey - Their ecology and conservation' presentation covers topics within 'Life and Living process' key stages 1, 2 and 3. With emphasis on adaptation, food chains, flight, predation, habitat, destruction, poisoning via pollution and most importantly sustainability. Any other associated topics can be covered on request.
The lecture is presented in language aimed specifically at your pupils age group with many analogies relating to their everyday life to ensure they understand the information they receive. If you have a wide range/ability of children in your school, we will be happy to do two presentations.
As there is no charge to the school for the presentation we ask that parents be informed that we are coming and that for £5.00 they may have a 5"x7" clolour photograph of their child, holiding one of our birds on their gloved hand. (Sample below) Photographs are only taken if ordered prior to our visit, this is to simplify matters for the school.
Should you wish for us to visit without the photograph option, we are happy to agree a fee.
Allowing us to visit your school will help support the sick and injured birds that are brought to us, many of which can never be released back into the wild and live their days at Eagle Heights.
If you feel your pupils would benefit from our visit and wish to make a booking, or if you have any queries regarding the above please contact us directly using the details below.
